The TRX®420 DCT IRS EPS is aimed directly at Canadian trail riders and includes a number of features that are sure to make it a very popular choice. A chassis with, long travel, fully independent rear suspension houses the proven, sideways-mounted 420 cc engine with its exceptionally low centre of gravity. This combination of advanced chassis and low centre of gravity ensures light and predictable handling, with electric power steering only adding to the sense of agility and security. The 420 power plant, uses the latest version of Honda®’s brilliant fully automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), which seems to have an ever-increasing number of followers due to its outstanding durability and seamless operation. Disc brakes front and rear, including a well-protected, inboard, driveshaft-mounted rear disc, take care of the stopping duties while a one-handed reverse shift mechanism allows the rider to quickly and easily select reverse without ever releasing the handlebars. Full-coverage bodywork has a tough larger-than-life appearance and surrounds a new, thickly padded comfortable seat. • Engine/Drivetrain

-Rugged OHV liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 420 cc longitudinally mounted engine allows direct driveshaft alignment to both front and rear wheels for maximum drivetrain efficiency.

-Overhead-valve design provides compact engine dimensions for improved ground clearance while maintaining a broad, easy-to-use powerband.

-Rubber-cushion engine mounting and gear-driven counter-balancer reduce vibration.

• Chassis/Suspension

-Durable double-cradle steel frame developed with Computer Aided Engineering features increased stiffness for precise handling and a smoother ride.

-Double wishbone independent front suspension offers generous well controlled travel providing a sense of security and control over difficult terrain.

-Independent rear suspension (IRS) design with lower 'A' arm and upper 'I' arm features optimized stiffness for improved handling performance. Comfort is also enhanced with longer travel.
